Today, with the expansion of modern and technologically advanced steel structure manufacturing factories, our country has a special place in the world in the field of steel structure manufacturing industry. To better understand the role and importance of the steel structure manufacturing industry, it is enough to examine the performance of this industry in building and protecting human lives in earthquakes in the country. With a brief glance, you will understand how standard steel buildings have helped protect and protect people’s lives in a country that is constantly exposed to earthquakes. However, this industry, like all industries, has suffered from disasters, stagnation, and neglect. The need to create an organization that can create a large economic organization in the field of entering domestic and foreign markets by combining the capabilities of manufacturing factories in this field while reducing production costs led us to form this cooperative. And with the grace of God and the support of colleagues in this industry, this collaboration has come to the fore in the form of creating a large cooperative. It is hoped that despite this large economic organization and the capacity and potential available in this field, we will be able to take steps in the field of industrialization of steel buildings in the country, while improving the quality, which will bring peace and confidence to our compatriots. Therefore, the Cooperative for Meeting the Needs of the Members of the Steel Structures Manufacturers’ Association was formed in 2018 with about 20 members, and its overall goal has been to coordinate existing capacities, reduce production costs, and create and expand the culture of using standard steel structures. The steel structure production industry is one of the most important industries, and the level of development of each country depends on the progress in this field. As the industrial revolution has been defined by the role of steel and its application. This industry has played an effective role in all parent industries such as the oil and petrochemical industry, the electricity industry, the transportation industry, and the railway network of the construction industry, and practically progress and development without considering the steel structure production industry will be meaningless. By pursuing and expanding the culture of using standard steel structures, with the support and cooperation of the National Center for the Certification of Standards of Iran and the General Directorate of Standards of Tehran, Kamsi Cooperative has been able to introduce authorized units in the field of building standard steel structures, and provide a basis for mutual cooperation with the Engineering System Organization of Tehran Province and the Tehran Municipality. The output of this is the circulars No. 10, 11, and 12 of the Engineering System Organization in the field of steel structures, which emphasize and force the design, supervisory, and executive engineers to notify and use standard steel structures. Also, by notifying the circular to 22 regions, Tehran Municipality has forced the need to use standard steel structures in receiving the completion of the work, and with these measures, the engineering community of the country has practically urged it to prevent the waste of financial and human capital of its compatriots by improving the quality of the building and by eliminating non-specialists in this industry, to keep it safe from serious damage.
